The Diamond Wood Partnership was founded on 1 March 1990 by two Partners, Paul Diamond & Mike Wood, with the assistance of Fergus Shaw an Associate Partner. The practice’s initial client base was primarily in Leicestershire and the East Midlands region but this base steadily expanded to cover much of the UK as the good reputation of the practice was established. 

Projects for early clients, in both the private and public sectors, included the design of foundations, structures and infrastructures for commercial, industrial, educational, warehousing and low and high rise residential developments. 

In 2012, the company became Diamond Wood and Shaw Limited with Fergus Shaw taking on sole ownership and Managing Director responsibilities.

To accommodate the steady growth of the practice it relocated to its present address The Old School, Enderby in March 1994.

Diamond Wood and Shaw are Consulting Engineers who have, for over 30 years, been providing skilled professional help and support on a full range of Structural and Infrastructure projects locally, regionally and nationally.
