Structural CAD / Revit Technician

We are currently seeking a full time (37.5 hours per week) Structural CAD / Revit Technician to join our Team based in our offices in Enderby, South Leicester. The candidate needs to possess the following skills:

• Be proficient using AutoCAD and Revit Structures.
• Ideally have 5 years (minimum) experience within a structural engineering environment.
• Be able to work from calculations and sketches to produce high quality drawings and Revit models with limited supervision and instruction from engineers.
• Be willing and able to solve problems and present solutions.
• Be willing and able to professionally communicate (verbally and written) with clients, other consultants and contractors.
• Understand the construction process and how buildings are designed and constructed.
• Understand the BIM process and demonstrate the importance of coordination.
• Experience in steelwork, reinforced concrete, timber, masonry and foundations.

All candidates will be required to prove their current right to work in the UK.

A formal face to face interview will be required (date to be confirmed) followed by two small tests using AutoCAD and Revit which may take up to 1 hour in total to complete.

Structural Engineer

• Be proficient using AutoCAD and Revit Structures.

• Be able to produce calculations in all the relevant construction materials
• Be willing and able to solve problems and present solutions.
• Be willing and able to professionally communicate (verbally and written) with clients, other consultants and contractors.
• Understand the construction process and how buildings are designed and constructed.
• Understand and demonstrate the importance of coordination.
• Experience with MMC would be advantageous but not essential

All candidates will be required to prove their current right to work in the UK.
